Cinnella, Vice-President, Mr. Joseph A. Rizzi, Board Attorney. In these days of great concern for our educational system and the corresponding cost to the taxpayers, the unpaid members of the Board of Education spend approximately one hundred nights each year in the almost impossible search for the best education within the financial limits. Nights are long, the problems complex, and the recommended conclusions constantly challenged. Board trustees join with the school staff, the community, and the students, in continuing the study of the nature, value, and direction of contemporary education in our society. This is done so that they may be aware of, and help bring about, any needed changes within our school system. Sometimes thankless and frequently frustrating but truly representing democracy at its best, is the job of the Board of Education trustee. 8
