Board of Education BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS Back Row: Mr. Kenneth Arnold, Mr. Harvey Schaffer, Dr. George Adams, Mr. Nelson Bellesheim, Mrs. Irma Leeds, Mr. Joseph Cipolla. Front Row: Mr. Paul Shelly, Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Wesley Van Pelt, School Business Administrator-Secretary, Mr. John N. Montemurro, President of the Board of Education, Mr. Milton Katine, Vice-President, Mr. Gregory Cinnella. In these days of great concern for our educational system and the corresponding costs to the taxpayers, the unpaid mem¬ bers of our Board of Education spend approximately one hun¬ dred nights each year in the almost impossible search for the best education within the community ' s ability to pay. Nights are long, the problems complex, and the recommended con¬ clusions constantly challenged. Often thankless, constantly frustrating, but truly represen¬ tative democracy at its best is the job of a Board of Education trustee. We thank you. Mr. Ralph Mele Administrative Assistant Personnel and Administrative Services A 8
