Business ' I ' » ' Louis Di Taranti Shorthand Typewriting Business Department Chairman To prepare students who plan to seek employment in the commercial world is the primary objective of the business department of Paramus High School. This department is staffed by eight teachers, including its chairman, Mr. L. DiTaranti. Courses offered to business students include typewriting, shorthand, bookkeeping, business math, and the operation of business machines. Students are also given the opportunity to participate in the Distributive Education program, which helps them to practice their skills while gaining experience. For those who plan to further their education in college, half-year courses in personal typewriting and Gregg Notehand may be selected.
