Centennial--40 Warren-26 Co-Captain Mike Clark, Coach Danny A Blake, and CoCaptain Ed Rosales. With a small squad on hand, Coach Danny Blake faced many problems. Opening with a hard fought tie 27-27 with Excelsior's Pilots, then scor- ing a decisive 33-O win over the Dominguez Dons, this year's JV's played hard all season. Mike Clark, who received the Most Valuable Player award at this year's Football Banquet, as well as Harold Shears and Gary Johnston will prove valu- able assets to the 1960's varsity squad. Supple- mented by Junior High stand-outs, the future squads look promising.
