BQ 4'-K VICE PRINCIPAL HAROLD TONINI No Pirate was prouder than Dr, Harold Tonini, vice principal of Paramount, of this year's Coast League Champs! Vitally concerned with scores and morale, he had every reason to be proud of both, when P.H.S. hosted as high as 9,000 fans. A graduate of the University of California, with a Doctor's Degree from University of Southern California, he managed his usual full schedule, demanding iustice, diplo- macy and humor, on campus, as well as the presidency of the Rotary Club for 1958-1959. It was he who, with Para- mount's growing prowess in mind, inaug- urated the traditional Invitational Basket- ball Tournament, co-sponsored by Rotar- ians, now in its fifth year. I3
