The A Cappella Choir, directed by Mr. William Stevens, gave many enioyable performances throughout the year. lts picked voices were first heard at the P.T.A. Open House, November 6. Christmas time found them singing the beloved songs of the season memorably at the annual Christmas Assembly, December 19. The group entertained for the Rotary Club, December 12, and appeared at the Music and Arts Festival held May 7 in the Pirate gym. May 28 found them traveling to Burroughs High School in Burbank for still another Music Festival. The beauty of their blended voices heard on the Pirate Field, June l8, in at Commencement, was fully appreciated by the cap and gowned graduates and their assembled families and friends.
