Eager, democratic, and rushed are its reporters who gather all the news. Supervised by Mrs. Esther Ericson and under the editorship of Fran Lewis, these journalists are forever con- cern with copy, accuracy, deadlines, and the mounting costs of publication. Each develops his own bent and assists, as well, with projects beneficial to the campus, such as Football Banquet and Carnival Dance decorations. Sketching trips to Knott's Berry Farm and the Huntington Library offer relaxation and inspiration.

They travel the roads of Spain and old Mexico, led by Senora Virginia Nelson, with limit- less enthusiasm. Geometry, taught patiently to math-minded Pirates, boasts many college-bound students. Dealing with figures drawn on a flat sur- face, this class is for enrollees with definite professions in mind. The course, reviewing algebra, stresses the fundamentals of trig- onometry and is taught by Mrs. Eva O'Con- nell and Mr. Donald Frederick. X
