Each class is designed to strengthen the mathemati- cal ability of each student. Starting next year all entering fresh- man will be required to take three years of math to graduate. A movement away from classroom paper work to mechanical and com- puter work is being emphasized. What I would like to see is that the district could afford calculators and computer terminals for each student's use, said Mr. Mac Haynie, math department chairman.
