l Jon Simpson, senior, does a scene from Monty Python's The Dangers of Hamsters - Hamsters can be hazardous to your health. The Drama class presents Star Trekslagt voyage, taken from Saturday Night The advanced drama classes had an opportunity to show off their talent by act- ing, dancing and singing in a Showcase Theater, Dec. 10. The Showcase started off with a skit by the Advanced Drama A class. The skit was entitled Star Trek and was a take off from Saturday Night Live. The Advanced Drama B class put on a skit called 'tChildren's Theater . ln the skit the students took different nursery rhymes and acted them out. Advanced B class planned to take the Childrens The- ater to different elementary schools to get young people interested in drama. Another act found Jon Simpson por- traying a mad scientist in Monty Pythons Hamsters . Angel Giordano, Laurie Dlhson and Paula Smith showed dancing and singing talent by the song Onet' from Chorus Line . Anne Marie Picerno wrote and acted in a skit called, The Roommates, assisted by Lisa Hensen. To end the show, Jon Simpson, Rick Meek, David Hudgens, Dan Remmington, Mike Valentino and Jerry Erven. sang Greased Lightning from the play Grease which the drama classes put on in the Spring. Mr. Bob Schwarz, drama teacher, nar- rated the showcase. The advanced drama students worked very hard and deserve recognition , said Mr. Schwarz.
