Varsity Volleyball sets season record, The Varsity Volleyball Team entered its way into the Skyline Divisionals with an 8-4 season record, Winning the tie breaking match for fourth place. The team played a tough first match in Divi- sionals against the number one ranked Cortez team and gave them a real scare but still lost 11- 15 and 9-15. The Varsity girls' softball team ended its season in a three-way tie for first place with Sunnyslope and Moon Valley. Each team had a league record of 5-3. Since only the top two teams from each division go to Divisionals, a playoff game was required. They lost their playoff game to Moon Valley eliminating their chance to go to divisionals. Overall the girls had a 6-8 record. Karey Guild struck out a total of seventy-five batters and ha earned run average of 3.87. Erica Storms ende season with the highest batting' average of .405. I was pleased with the season we hadg the worked hard throughout the whole season, st Miss Sondra Angleton, varsity coach.
