'cbs An involved Freshman voices her opinion about Freshman The excitement built as the candidates for freshman student council eagerly waited for the result of the polls. When asked how she felt when she won the position of president, Shyri Nishimoto replied with a large smile, I was happyl . Shyri plans on running again next year. Freshman student council consists of Shyri Nishimoto, presi- dent, Teresa Tannehill, vice president, Bill Magsam, boys' repre- sentativeg Lisa Martin, girls' representative, Tod Keltmen, trea- surer, and Yvonne Delafunte, publicity. During elections many various ways of campaigning were used, such as posters, word of mouth and the support of friends. This year freshman student council sponsored the Easter Dance and some assemblies. They also sold candy apples as a way to raise money.
