Students were asked to do two term papers. one for the first semester and one for the second semester. They were given outlines and asked to prepare their papers on different careers in math, fitting themselves into a career with mathe- matics. I think Algebra 3-4 students are highly qualified and should start investigating careers which require mathemat- ics. said Mrs. Blomquist. This year there were many areas of math from which to choose starting with general math and moving up to the new computer class. With all the computers used today if you wish to have a career in a mathematical field, you would want to take all the math and computer classes you could.
