lncrea ing enrollment keeps staff bu y Have you ever wondered who keeps our front office running smoothly as our days go by. The number one clue is it's not a who it's a they, our secretar- ies. With answering the phone, typing, keeping attendance records up to date and the yearly increasing enrollment, our secretaries somehow keep busy, but yet stay very efficient. Not only does the attendance office have a lot of responsibility, but our secretaries in the guidance office keep very busy too. Mrs. Bobbi MacLeod registers students, informing them of classes and the major school facilities. She also maintains gradepoint averages, student records, evaluates transcripts, class ranks and completion of schedule changes. But she enjoys her work and does it extremely well. Our nurses, Mrs. Dolores Philley and Mrs. Lynn Flora, are another impor- tant asset to our student body. They help us when we are ill and they are there if we are in need of someone to talk to. They also check our hearing, vision, height, weight, scoliosis check and sickle cell anemia for state requirements. Our new bookstore manager, Mrs. Mary Jane Johnson, is doing a fine job this year in the bookstore. She also has many responsiblities with managing club and school funds, assigning lockers and making sure everybody has books and the clubs have the money to keep education and school activities running as smoothly as possible. Throughout the year, these people keep our world at Paradise Valley turn- ing smoothly.
