DECA's 82 member club is for Juniors and Seniors who are interested in business, sales and advertising for various types of small businesses. The members have been involved in many fund raising projects such as sell- ing candy. stationery, Tupperware and car washes. In December DECA sponsored a Christmas Party for the Camlu Retirement home. The students made Christmas tree center pieces, brought gifts and even Santa showed up. State competition for DECA members was held in Phoenix in December and U.S. competition was held in Miami, Florida. The club also attended a conven- tion at Del Webb,s and a leadership development institute in Novemver. DECA will sponsor an employer appreciation banquet at the end of the year for all employers who have helped DECA members find jobs. mm? lst hour.
