Frosh, JV practice hard to perfect skills The freshman pitching line up was fairly strong this past season because of pitchers Travis Shafer, Brian Foley, and Brian Jones, said Coach Robinson. At the beginning of the season the freshmen went over the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing and proper posi- tioning in the field. Our toughest opponents were Thunderbird and Agua Fria, stated coach Robinson. This year all the players had a chance to play but, not in every game. The freshman goals were to have a successful season by learning the fundamentals of baseball and enjoy- ing themselves. - rrtrrt rrr JV Baseball: top row: Tim Statezny, Elesio Ruiz, Ruddy Brent, Shawn Collins, .Ieff Zeien, Scott Molnar, Mark McFarlan, Steve Ashworth, Scott Feherman.
