Because the Trojan football team seemed to be prone to injuries, such as concussions, knee injuries, and cal- cium deposits, the Trojan football team did not do as well this year. Although starting the season beating Agua Fria I4-13 with a good offensive game scoring 14 points, the team finished the season with a record of l-9. One game which was very close was against St. Mary's but St. Mary's came back to beat the Trojans 20-19 after the Trojans had them l9-0 in the first half. Another loss to Shadow Mountain occurred when the Matadors kicked a field goal to beat the Trojans l0-7. The Trojans established new school records and also tied previous ones with a 93 yard run set by Senior Dave Pasanella against Agua Fria. Also in that game the Tro- jans ran for 373 yards. That is more yards gained in one game than in past set records. The Trojans' defense also contributed to the record books with ll tying intercep- tions in a season.
