Girls' Softball Team Takes First Place i, . , l ..,. ,.. My ,N M07 g Softball-BOTTOM ROW- Sue Bordeau, Jill Homer, Sheril Bordeau, Kathy Warner, Brenda Sweat, Donna Auer, Terry Anderson, Anne Ream, TOP ROW- Karen Fisher, Gina Arrandale, Chris De Chance, Margaret Rebenar, Sara Krieger, Io Rita Pederson, Coach Lou Kostielney. The girls' softball team, under the coaching of Miss Lou Kostielney, captured first place trophy in state with a season record of 3 Wins and 4 losses. 1 Organized this year, the girl's softball team entered competition in the AAA division. Senior pitcher Margaret Rebenar struck out 46 batters in the tournament games. The girls' batting averages were all over .400, with leading hitters, Margaret Rebenar .728, Anne Ream . 636 and Terry Anderson . 625. ln State Tournament play, they defeated Mesa 18-4 in the first game.
