Simulation Games Aid Social Studies Teachers Mr. Paul Hibbert Mr. John Maiden Mrs. Santhe Niedner Mr.William Pellett Mrs. Mildred Pettis Mr. Larry Reifenrath Mr. William Verhulst Mr. Augie Zito Department Chairman The Social Studies Department, headed by Mr. Augie Zito, has added many new aspects to its past teaching methods. Simulation games, one type of addition, allow students to become more involved in the subject while interest increases. Free Enterprise, a new required course for sen- iors, has been designed to broaden the economic knowledge of the students. ln this subject the stu- dents' awareness of our country's economic structure and an understanding of how it works is emphasized. Two new teachers have added their skills to this department. Mr. William Pellett, a graduate from N.A.U., teaches Free Enterprise. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees.
