As juniors, we elected the following officers: President, Henry Bennerg Vice-President, john Lindecanipg Secretary, ,Indy Miller, Treasurer, Donald Sliirlc. Pennants, emblems, and hats were ordered in our newly selected class colors, forest green and white. Class rings were also purchased. Some of our contributions to the school social life were a dance, The Platter Hop , and a school party in the form of a square dance. The biggest event of the year, the junior-Senior reception, was held at the Stevens House in Lancaster. By our combined efforts, funds for this banquet were raised through a Hake and Soup sale. VVe closed our third year with a trip to Hershey. 1952-53 In our final year at Paradise High, Mr. Arthur VV. Eshelman and Miss Mary L, Fulgniniti served as advisors. Senior olhcers were as follows: President, Henry Benner, Vice-President, Donald Shirkg Secre- tary, Nancy johnson, Treasurer, Judy Miller. Gur dance, The Holly Hop, was held after the VVest Lampeter basketball game, , During the entire year we worked in our respective departments of the Tanawan staff. Publi- cation of the Tanawan was made possible by combining our efforts and ideas. Our three-day trip to Wlashington D. C, highlighted our last months at l . H.
