THE PANTHER 1985 Paradise High School Paradise, Texas Foreword On our first day of school we were like little pebbles suddenly dropped into the pool of education. Year by year the ripples extended into ever widening circles, embracing the desire for self-improvement, high enthusiasm for learning, superiority of aim, and exceptional skill gained through participation in school activities. As we began to reach for new horizons, we discovered our ability to experience new learning, make new friends, gain new insights, and acquire a new sense of pride in our achievements. In spite of severe dif- ficulties, we know now that we can be successful in reaching our goals through superior persistence. May our lives continue to be meaningful, rewarding, and significant as our circle of education expands more and more beyond 1985. From this statement, it is safe to assume that we will be more likely to make accurate decisions when we increase learning and improve our knowledge. Therefore, we should be committed to the task of acquiring as much information as possible for the many decisions we are requried to make. He placed in enough rodeos to bring home a saddle for the world champion junior roper. His name will be inscribed on a traveling trophy named for Roy Cooper, a former AJRA world champion calf roper. Keith is the sixth recipient of the trophy. In his age category, Keith competed against 74 ropers in 24 rodeos. He also competed in 60 other rodeos in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
