Dedication Mr. Perk Harris We proudly dedicate the 1984 PANTHER to Mr. O. B. Cleveland, Mr. E. R. Paschali, and Mr. Perk Harris. At one time or another during the years from 1932 to 1942, these men served on the Paradise School Board. They represent all the fine, dedicated individuals who have contributed their time and effort to serve our school and community in this capacity.

Foreword Paradise School has always been committed to preparing the students to believe that true happiness can be found in a total dedication to excellence in everything that contribules to a successful and fulfilling life. Education is not a spectator sport. The game is never won by those who sit on the sidelines, bored, un- concerned, and critical of those who run with the ball. Only through direct involvement in every phase of the game plan can one come out on top. These learning situations constantly provide guidelines for emo- tional, social, physical, and academic success. Knowledge never stands still; it Is constantly advancing. No one reaches any level of maturity without learning that life is made up of constant changes. Changes indicate that everything man makes Is Im- perfect, and for this reason it requires constant improvement. Therefore, let us take inventory of all the resources placed in our charge: time, talents, opportunities, health, intelligence, education, and other advantages.
