Foreword The .journey through life begins with a single step. When we enter school for the first time, we begin immediately to reach and to search for that intangible moment when we discover our own identity. In the beginning, everything is exciting but confusing because there are so many fields to explore and so many new things to learn about the universe, the world, people, and even ourselves. All through school we reach and push forward individually to prepare for the time when the future becomes the present and our dreams become a reality. In striving for our own Identity, we have developed a lifestyle that is reflected in the way we participate in academics, spoils, and friendships. A pictorial record of die various activities and experiences in school that have contributed to the devel- opment of arlifestyle by which each of us will be guided is ponrayed within the covers of the 1975 PAN- THER. Dedication MR. ANU MRS. HENRY KELLEY We proudly dedicate the 1975 PANTHER to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kelley. Mr. Kelley began teaching at Paradise during the 1933-34 school year. He retired at the end of the 1973-74 school year. During these years he served as superintendent, principal, coach, teacher, sponsor, and counselor. Mrs. Kelley served as a teacher's aide from 1968 to 1974. Perhaps the greatest monument that can be erected to any individual is his influence upon those around him - morally, spiritually, socially, and intellectually. The Kelleys expressed their love for the home, church, school, and community, not in mere words, but in deeds. Through the years, they were not only active members of P. T. O. but faithful members, giving of their time and effort for the good of the school and community. Mr. Kelley wrote many letters of recommen- dation to help some, student get into college, obtain a job, or get a promotion. He sought to guide his pupils along the paths of learning so that one day each o: them would be successful and assume his share of responsibility. We appreciate Mr. and Mrs. Kelley for the many contributions they made to our school and commu- nity.
