In Memoriam MRS. LORA OWNSBEY God in His infinite wisdom Looked down on a town so small; For they were in need of a teacher, The Fourth Grade had sent out the call. God made a list of qualifications This teacher would have to meet; First, she must love the. children And teach them in meekness sweet. Then with patience, and understanding She must teach with devotion great, Possessed with a love of nature For the things God did create. God shook his head and wondered Where a ceacher like this could be; And the teacher God sent to Paradise. Was MRS. LORA OWNSBEY. Then God in His infinite wisdom Looked down on a town so small, And called to His side a teacher. The greatest gem of them all. 3
