Foreword Interwoven into the pattern of our lives 'nere in School ace memories - the happy times with our friends, the thrilling moments of common, yet exciting, everyday happenings, then the monotonous hours of study, moments of discouragement, and finally that ultimate sense of accomplishment. All these different experiences in school contribute to the completion of that pattern by which our lives will be guided, not only now, but also in the years to follow. Thus, it is the pictorial record of that pattern of memories that is vividly portrayed within the covers of the 1973 PANTHER, THE ANNUAL STAFF In Memoriam MRS. LORA OWNSBEY God in His infinite wisdom Looked down on a town so small; For they were in need of a teacher, The Fourth Grade had sent out the call. God made a list of qualifications This teacher would have to meet; First, she must love the. children And teach them in meekness sweet. Then with patience, and understanding She must teach with devotion great, Possessed with a love of nature For the things God did create. God shook his head and wondered Where a ceacher like this could be; And the teacher God sent to Paradise. Was MRS. LORA OWNSBEY.
