IN MEMORIAM We, the Senior Class of 1970, solemnly dedicate THE PANTHER to the memory of Mrs. Othella Carson, one of our beloved and retired teachers, and David Harold Dickinson, a member of the 1909 Eighth Grade Class. Mrs. Carson contributed many years of unselfish devotion and untiring service to the field of education. She taught here at Paradise from 1952 to 19S8. Her sincerity, interest in young people, and dedication to her pro- fession will long be remembered by the faculty, her many friends, and especially by the many pupils who sa: in her classes. MRS. OTHELLA CARSON David entered the first grade at. Paradise and was a former pupil of Mrs. Carson. He was an inspiration, not only to his classmates and his teachers, but also to everyone who knew Mm and loved His youthful dreams and ideas were projected into his classwotk, and his spirit, his energy, and Ms enthusiasm were reflected in Ms participation in sports and other school activities. His outstand- ing personality and pleasant smile will be cherished in the hearts of all Ms friends. DAVID HAROLD DICKINSON
