MARIE ERIDGES She was a friend whose heart was good, Who walked with us and understood; She had a voice that spoke to cheer; And fell like rr.usice on the ear. She wore a smile wc loved to sec. And lent a hand that asked no fee. Site made our school a better place By acts of kindness endowed with grace. SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Leaving the teaching profession after thirty-nine years gives me a deep feeling of gratitude to all the students I have tried to serve. I have lived long enough to see some of my dreams come true in the growth and successful lives of former students. I have made some mistakes, but have no regrets; and If I had my teaching career to live again, I don’t know of any changes I would make. My wife and 1 have enjoyed living in Paradise, where we have tried to be an integral part of the com- munity. We hope we have added a little to the betterment of the school, the churches, and tlie com- munity. I am sure all the students will enjoy for many years the nice, new school facilities that their parents have provided for them. May you always take pride in your school and see that it is always kept in good condition so that it will continue to be a credit to you and your community.
