DEDICATION MR. GEORGE R. HOWELL Superintendent 1955 1959 - 1962-1965 The Senior Class of Paradise High School dedicate the 1966 PANTHER to Mr. George Howell because we are grateful for the numerous contributions that he made to our school and community. One of the greatest monuments that can be erected to a man is his own works—the fruits of his hands and mind. Mr. Howell was not only a capable administratur and leader but also a friend. He possessed wisdom, foresight, and the courage tc inspire others to look beyond the horizon'' and accept the challenges of the future by building a better school for the boys and girls of this community. Today :he parents, teachers, and students of Paradise are en- joying the fulfillment of his dream. TRINIDAD UNIT NO. 6 Each new generation requires more and more elec- tricity To meet these increasing needs, Texas Power Light Company is constantly planning and making improvements and additions to its facilities for pro- ducing and supplying electric power. For example, TP L recently completed a new 240,000- kilowatt generating unit at its Trinidad Steam Electric Station in Henderson County. A new unit at the Stryker Creek Steam Electric Station, in East Texas, will add 500,000 kilowatts in 1966 to meet customer needs. An additional new unit is also under construction at the Valley Steam Electric Station in North Texas. TP L invested about $55 million in new and improved facilities in 1964. Approximately $100 million more will be spent for construction of new generating units and Other facilities during the 1965-66 period. You can be sure that TP L and the other investor� Owned electric companies will oontinue . . . through use of private capital ... to provide ample, low-cost, dependable electric service in the years ahead.
