Everyone who lives must experience both joy and grief, success and failure, and even health and ill- ness. If one can carry on in his most effective man- net during both success and failure, both happiness and sadness, both elation and disappointment, lie is uuly and ultimately a real success. That is because he is able to live expertly and courageously. That is because he has a true and abiding religion. That is because he really loves his fellowman and God. Throughout the North, Central and East Texas areas served by TP L, the Company’s farm youth program is carried out in cooperation with agricultural extension agents, vocational agriculture teachers and home-making teachers. TP L sponsors a 4-H Training Camp in youth leadership held an- nually at the Company’s Trinidad EXAS POWER power plant. With other electric utili- ties in the state, it co-sponsors the 1-H Electrie Contest, the 4-H Demonstra- tion Program and the Future Farmers of America Electric Awards Program. More than 4,000 farm boys and girls annually attend encampments at the Company’s Trinidad plant.
