SEVENTH GRADE ACTIVITIES After looking forward for a whole year to the time when we would be promoted to high school, we, the seventh grade, finally found our way into tho study hall and timidly took our placer, among the older boys and girls. Once wc got into high school, we found there were many adjustments tc make. For instance, we had to learn what the study hall was for, and that magazines weren11 tho only things in the library to read. Among other things we learned that tho high school facutly were more h rd-boi1ed than our teachers in grammar school. Looking back upon the year, wo think wc have made many improvements, among which have boon our homeroom meetings and club meetings. Included in our activi Lies for the year have been two trips. One was a visit to the Dallas Fair in October. The other was a trip to the Fort Worth FaI Stock Show in March. The seventh grade has done some splondid sp- ecial work in our classes this year, In Language Arts, several good dramas wore written. In Social Science, we did several interesting units, and carried on correspondence with a seventh grade class in Paradi'30, Utah, We are looking forward Lo next year when we can take Ilomomaking and Vocational Agriculture.
