- .alias S Q ff' W f jf We sincerely hope that your yearbook has captured this year's memorable triumphs. Its pages are a record of the fact that this has beena better year. Think of the problems you have faced and how your added assurance and knowledge helped solve them. Remem- ber how the will to improve paid off with success in the classroom. Be proud of the fact that you gave more attention to sharing your interests, your energies, and your hopes with others so that it added up to a more and better school spirit. Realize that Doing Right made more sense while at the same time it was easier to accomplish. This has been a year of achievement because as a student you raised your sights on higher horizons, and because you attached more importance to the responsibility of work- ing with others. We know that you have been striving to achieve the honorable, and we want you to know that we are confident that you will dedicate yourself to more years of progress. D.A. Morrissey, Principal

wks' When we see in pictures and read in stories of children in other lands, the difficult path they have up the highway of life, let us indeed be thankful for the initiative possessed by our ancestors in coming to our shores. When school days seem a little long at the end of day near- ing the end of our school term, let us often be grateful that we have the opportunities of our Paradise Unified Schools which are the united efforts of the students, teachers, our parents, administrators, and the board members.
