CLASS PROPHECY Listen, O' ye men and women, youths and maidens, and little children. Lis- ten all ye people of Paoli, to the words of wisdom from the lips of your prophet. As you know the class of 1948 is on the last lap beginning on the homeward stretch. What will become of us is an exciting story, but I will try to give you some idea. I predict that: KENNETH BECHTEL will be trying to invent a larger desk for his feet when he becomes manager of the Shredded Carrot Company. OUIDA BINGHAM will be eagerly looking for the return of her husband, who is a sailor in the South Pacific. RUTH STERLING will complete her beauty course and we predict that her husband will be her guinea pig for hair styling. No wonder he's bald-headed. ALVIN STEPHENS will be shooting a lot of bull in Texas. He owns the 101 Dude Ranch there. ,IOE MCDANIEL will be clerking in a certain grocery store here in town. BETTY JEAN FERGUSON will be stuck up over her job. She is chief stamp licker at the post office. WILLY SOUTHWELL after losing his l73rd week-end will take to aviation looking for his hearts desire. MAUREEN WOMBLE will join Elden Michael on a hunt into Africa after which they will settle down in a native village and teach them singing. EDMONA RICHARDS will enter a highly polished profession. She will be with the Wonder Wax Company. HAROLD YOAKUM AND RALPH HAWK are now engaged by the Savamore Oil Company in South America, after spending 10 years in College trying to get their degree in Petroleum Engineering. JAMES WHITLEY will be Sailing, Sailing, Over the Bounding Main as one of Uncle Sam's Capable Sailors. BLANC!-IE SUMNER will be owner of the Mamselle Designing Shoppe in New York, but her thoughts will be deep in the Heart of Texas. MARY ANN RILEY will be patiently waiting for the right man to come along. BETTY LOU POWELL will be the capable and efficient Secretary to the Gover nor, but with all interests centered at .Norman. PEARL AVERY will be happily married to Mr. Stephens and living in Pauls Valley. Going to the dogs will bring them great success. They will own the only complete flea circus in existence.
