We shine brightest. . . together Although we were individuals, we found the glow of special moments grew brighter if we shared them together. Through teamwork we proved that anything was conquerable. No matter if we were standing out in a crowd or in front of one, much of our time was spent with close friends just clowning around. Whether we were hard at study or just out for a friendly game of basketball, we found that in discovering others, we would also discover ourselves.

Then there were the days when it seemed that our lights were being hidden by a cloud. We had to dim our switches and give our batteries time to recharge. We found class hours the best for recuperating from a weekend full of cruising the Pizza Hut and partying with friends. Although studying was a must at PHS, some didn’t find it anything to get too enthused about. With the end of the season blues, we slowed down long enough to look back on the energy we had dispelled throughout the year. We remembered the times when the switch couldn’t make the push from off to on, and we accepted all these times as patiently as possible, waiting for the time when we could once again steal the spotlight and find our time to shine. 6 Opening
