Spinning round and round, dizzy memories appear only to be lost in the next revolution. You are enchanted by the whirling sensation. But as the kaleidoscope slows, you begin to see . . . your first love in all its uniqueness ... a cold frozen stream which has captured the sometimes loneliness of your soul . . . The true simplicity of your complicated life is revealed. Look quickly through the brilliant swirling designs, deep into the beauty of your mind, for all too soon the kaleidoscope turns and you forget.

Big, yellow buses pulled away, leaving behind a playground for the imagination, a land where battles were fought with ammunition of soft, wet whiteness. A carrot-topped snowman reigned over the war of the sexes and a pyramid of cooperation became a pile of confused laughter. But with a shift of the kaleidoscope, that frozen moment in time thawed. The Cinderella seniors ran away from their white castle leaving nothing behind . . . but the glass slippers in their minds.
