Dedicafion Mr. Charles Molina The 1966 staff proudly and affectionately ded- icates the yearbook, The Panther, to Mr. Char- les Molina, PHS music instructor. Mr. Molina has directed the band, choir, and small ensembles for the last five years, giving beyond the regular requirements many hours of his own time. By his dedication to music and by encouraging students to develop their talents, he has made their lives richer in the field of music. Surely the Paola High School music depart- ment could not have been successful during these years without his faithful instruction.

Introduction The days of the 1965-66 school year have been memorable ones with the hands of the students, faculty administration and school board busy with the year's accomplishments and with plans for the future, A school bond issue for a new high school passed, a new vocational building was constructed, a pilot project course in areas common to all vocational courses was instituted, and the high school was eval- uated by the North Central Association. Meanwhile, back in the classroom, experiments were conducted, formulas learned, concerts given, themes written, plays produced, contests entered, tests taken . . . . everyone at PHS had his hands full.
