One hundred graduating seniors heard Dr. Kenneth Anderson, Dean of the School of Education at the University of Kansas, at exercises held in the gymnasium May 27. Graduafion Honors Valedicforion David Stephens receives a check and congratulations from Superin- tendent Carl F. Gump. David was the valedictorian of the class as well as a National Merit semi- finalist and a Putnam scholarship winner to Kansas State University at Manhattan, David was also voted by his fellow seniors as the most likely to succeed. i . 4 Graduation 1 966

Ofher Sfudenfs Honored Salufaforian Myrl Duncan, ranking second highest in the class, receives a check for that honor from Mayor Rex Ki- ser. After a summer spent as a page in the US House of Representatives, Myrl will enter the University of Kansas this fall, Fufure Teachers The teaching profession will be rewarded with the presence and work of these students in a few years, Left, Richard Holtz and Melody Johnson were recipients of the Future Teachers of Ameri- ca scholarships and Clifford Yackle, the City Teachers Association scholarship. Melody also was awarded a CTA scholarship.
