The soldier comes to town the day after Ruth becomes engaged. The maid, Dora, played by Melody Johnson, discusses breakfast preparations with Mrs. Wilkens, Ruth Lohrenz. Above: Judge Wilkens, Myrl Dun- can, tries to console Albert Krum- mer, Ruth's fiance, played by Steven Hines, after he was pushed offs subway which left Ruth and Lt. Seawright alone. -nw-3 Left: In a happy conclusion Mariam, Evie Masterson, greets a sailor she has written to, Jim Gast, after Ruth and Lt. Seawright have just been married. Looking on are Martha Seawright, JoAnn Smith, Sgt. Chuck Vincent, Steve Tippit and Judge Wilkens. Lt. Seawright, Clifford Durland, and Ruth, Diane Bond, discuss a possible wedding as Mariam listens in.

Qsenfbr GQJS yjQy A MAN CALLED PETER By John Henderson The story centered around Dr. Peter Marshall who dedicated his life to God and changed the lives of many people around him. Left: Allan Talbot, Joe Kaiser, becomes angry at his aunt, Judith Bickle, played by Helen Hertha, after she has ordered his mural de- stroyed. Trying to calm him are Dr. Marshall, played by John Showalter, and Jesse Bickle, Conice Ladd. Mr. and Mrs. Grant, David Fickel and Susan Russell, are thanking Dr. Mar- shall and Katherine Marshall, Ann Kaiser, for helping them realize their faults. Susan Grant, Nancy Wiand, and George Yost, Dean Nichols, look on apprehensively. Below: As the curtain opens, a group of young people are gathered around the piano singing Scottish songs, a fa- vorite pastime of Dr. Marshall's. Center: Sitting back to enjoy the decora- tions and dancing are Dr. and Mrs. Jack Rowlett. As prom mother Mrs. Rowlett spent many hours working with the juniors helping them create the right mood for Southern Plantation.
