Scesa ' s twin-bill victory against Newark State, With such veterans as B. Wolfarth, B. Derrick, J. Bicknell, L. TRACK AND FIELD The 1957 track and field team had another winning season and many individual records were established. The team placed second in the Collegiate Track Con- ference meet. R. Balderston won the C.T.C. javelin championship with a record javelin throw of 210 feet 8 ' 2 inches, and E. Ryan established a C.T.C. discus record with a toss of 144 feet 6 inches. New college records were established by J. D ' Andrea in the 120 yard high hurdles, with a time of 16.0 seconds; by E. Ryan, with a discus toss of 149 feet 2 inches; and by R. Balderston, with a javelin throw of 210 feet 8 inches. The team was coached by Mr. Goodwin. The 1958 team, coached by Mr. Doolittle, is looking forward to a good year. ALBA N. CORDASCO Basketball. Menary and B. Derriclc received honorable mention on the Delaware-New Jersey-Pennsylvania soc- cer team. R. Wolfarth booted 8 goals in two successive games against Albany State and Bridgewater State. WRESTLING CLUB Close as pages in a book. Under the able supervision of Mr. Lied, the maulers of the wrestling club increased and improved their wrestling skill. MUSIC CLUB The Music Club, under the direction of Mr. Johnson, con- tributed musical talent to many assembly programs and provided a varied musical pro- gram for its members.
