LASS PRCPHECY If you will go with me, I shall turn ahead the hands of time to May 18, 1961. As I sit here gazing into the walls of space, I can see a vision of my classmates in the world of today. First, I see Melva Woolard as head nurse of McGuire Veteran's Hospital in Richmond, Va. John Eisses as a Surgeon and Carol Allen as his nurse, who seem to be doing very nicely in their work. I -can vision Dan Winfied as Boys Athletic coach of Pantego High School. There, also, on the faculty was Ellis Myers, Principal, William Waters, Agriculture teacher. Irene Brinn, now a Mrs., the Girls Athletic coach while Phrocene Allen, also a Mrs., is the Commercial teacher. Helen van Wyk and Peggy Keech are owners of The W 8. K Art School. In the Florida Times I can see an advertisement of The Bowen's Tourist Cabins owned by Teddy Bowen. Ralph Keech is a Maior in the Army while Martin van Staalduinen is a Captain in the Navy. Van Respess is a Chemistry Professor at North Carolina State College. Florida Paul married a Missionary and they are doing Missionary work in Africa. C. C. Jackson and Frank Hollowell are partners as Chevrolet Dealers, while Gracie Allen is their head bookkeeper. Marie Slot is manager of Orbach's Department Store in Jersey City, New Jersey. Doris Sawyer is now Editor of The Cleveland Daily News, of Cleveland, Ohio. Larry Allen decided he could do well enough farming and there he is doing very well. Janice Keech who was married shortly after graduation is living at White Post with her husband and three children. Mary Jane Rose who was also married shortly after school is living on a farm with her husband. Junella Paul, who has re- cently married has not yet returned from her honeymoon from California. Minnie Lou Allen is married and is traveling from state to state with her husband who has made the Army his career. All too soon my sight was dimmed, and my classmates of '51 were gone from me again. But, indeed, I had a wonderful hour of vision. MINNIE LOU ALLEN, Class Prophetess
