I ........ , , 3 -' 2: .... .... : ' l 3 Ce CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1953, twenty three freshman began their high school career, Although we seemed a bit shy and everything was new to us, we made the best of things and soon got acquainted and things were fun, In our freshman year we gained Herman Gauer and lost Willis MoGrew. The class officers we selected were! president, Kay Williams: vice-president, Jake Wirtg secretary and treasurer, Herman Gauer. Our student council repre- sentative was Joyce Burgess, It seemed like summer vacation flew by and we were back to school to start our sophomore year We lost Nancy Lonnecker, Jeanette Seymour, and Alan Pritchard during the beginningof this year We selected for our class officers, president, Jake Wirt, vice president, Norman Downing, secretary and treasurer, Barbara McCabe The student council member was Ed Hender son We than began one of the busiest years ln high school, the Junior year We still had the same members of our class, but lost Gene Henderson during the first of the year This year we sponsored the homecoming dance and put on the Junior class play for the community It was entitled 'Shy Guy ' It took a lot of practice, ut was worth it and it turned out fine We had a nicely decorated gym for our junior and senior prom The theme was 'Rock and Roll Ranch ' For the officers of our junior year we chose Barbara McCabe as our president, Ron Smith as vice president Jackie Wine secre tary and treasurer Ron Smith was our student council representative There were 18 members left to start the last and best year of high school We elected as our officers, president, Jake Wirt vice president Garry Marchant, secretary and treasurer, Jackie Wine, Jim Rotter was our stude ntative ,,,.
