'AVPBVLLS ARF COMING The name of the senior class play was nThe Campbells are Coming ' a farce comedy in three acts Tre time was a Saturday morning in June The place was tre summer cabin in the Ozarks of the Brannigans' It is a delightful amusing play centering around Ya Brannigan CBobby Wine! who has raised ter son's children since he and his wife were and CConn1e Brossl the grandaughter Betty Kaye Brannigan KJoan Wheelerj is the oldest of the three She has 1ust graduated from a charm school and comes home with a new fiancee Kingston Campbell KTom Summyl Jeff Scrudder, fRonn1e Roverl has been attending medical school and is in love with her also But Kaye wants nothing to do with Jeff The story continues on with Kave's a rival home and announcement of her engagement to Kingston She announces also that the Campbells are arriving next week to meet the Brannigan family They think that he Brannigans are 'killblllies ' Kaye then departs for a shopnins tour and won't return for a few days Just after her departure, a telegram arrives announcing the Campbells arrival earlier than anticipated The Brannigans decide to fool the Campbells and plav the part of real 'rlllbillies W It is a hllarous time with Catalpa tPe maid, Kvartra Clousel and Bildad, her father, CDanny Donahavi adding to the plav Kingston and his mother, Augusta, KAudrev Tami arrive to find a dirty cabin and morons awaiting trem Cvrus Schudder Jeff's uncle, lLew1s Davisj helps to put on a great act All in all, the storv is quite a comedy Naturally there is a surprise ending and evervtling turns out just right g 11.f vi new xg A 1 Fw e f 4 Eg, Q. .
