Class H1 story Perhaps you will find it hard to belleve but we are that same Freshman class now become the important Seniors Some of us have been together since kindergarten days Mary Nell Warren, Haskell Powell B111 Brown Bob McKee and Margie Knox To such one we can only say we have weathered a good many storms together and have found school l1fe not all a bed of roses But we must truthfully admit that whatever of trouble and annoyance has come to us has been largely our own fault We began our high school as Freshmen in the fall of 46 On that sunny morning in the month of September, twelve eager Freshmen enrolled Wllbur Lowry Joined us 1n the second semester The Sophomore year found us enrolling twelve During the term we gained .Tune Bills and Kenneth Danel We lost Lois Wagner Dorothy Holcomb and Kenneth Danel As .Tumors we enrolled only nine pupils We neither gained or lost during the term When school opened in 49 it found nine of s on hand to complete our last year of schooling Louise Summers moved to Callforma which left us with elght students the graduating class of 50 Class W1 Il We the Senior Class of 1950, of Panola High School of the County of Lat1mer of the State of Oklahoma, being collectively of a sound mind do hereby make publish and de clare this as our last will and testament hereby passing our good deeds and individual traits to the following persons or parties To our Superintendent, Pr1nc1pal and teachers we convey our ability to know a good are merely returning to them their own invaluable gift To the .Tumors we bestow all the mistakes, blunders inaccuracies, and lapses commltted by us during the last exciting year of our most exciting life To the Sophomores, we bequeath our wonderful intellectual powers To the Freshman Class we bequeath our power of saying the wrong thing in the right place and the right thing in the wrong place Haskell Powell wills his seat on the bleachers to Raymond Bagwell and Wanda Moore hoping they have as much fun up there as he had B111 Brown wills his intimency with highway patrols to Tommy Williams Tommy don let those Cpatrols down Leonard Lively wills hrs ability to kill a deer every year to Ather Abner Be sure it lsn t a hawk Margie Knox wills her ability to get along w1th boys especially those from Punkin Center, to Minnie Belle Lowry Good luck Mmnie Belle Earlme Gray wills her speed in shorthand to Lorene and her ability to gab to Rena Gray Mary Nell Warren wills her Sblllty to walk home from the preview barefooted in the ram to Wanda McMaster Bob McKee wills his position on the ball team to Clarence Young, and his abxlxty to vet to school at 9 30 to Joe Lmdsey Jumor Young wills his good looks and pleasing personality to B111 Parks His Hulsey Prairie women to Bob White Senior Class 10 thing when we see it.
