Raising money was our biggest task, as we sold books, advertisements, class-memorabilia, spices, senior shirts, and we sponsored the Second Annual Halloween and Spring dances. In the fall we attended a Josten’s yearbook workshop which proved to be a valuable learning experience for the 9 Seniors and 1 Junior that composed the staff. Two-year staff veterans whose leadership and creativeness that will be missed next year are Laurie Steinman (Editor), Cindy Dalrymple, Chris Koenig, and Steph Bowers. 25

The French Club has been non-existent for over 5 years until French was reinstated into the curriculum. The club members met on a monthly basis with discussion of French customs followed by refreshments of a French nature. A Christmas celebration was also held at the home of senior member Laurie Steinman. Plans are now in process for a second-semester field trip to the Toledo Art Museum and to a French restaurant. In addition several outside French-speaking guests provided lectures on the French language and French culture.
