It’s past, It’s over, and it’s done. And we’re glad. But just what is past, over, and done? Student life. But is that LIFE? A life of not knowing, and of waiting, and of checking and of being checked. Of never really defining, yet always saying the words. 01' being exposed but never getting burned. Of sharing, of cutting up and of being cut up. But for what purpose, to what avail? Perhaps there is a hidden purpose. Maybe somewhere along the line somebody, sometime forgot to tell us that there really is a purpose beyond burns and scores and popcorn and being groovy and checking it out. But what didn’t they tell us, why didn’t they spell it out and letter it on the wall? Why do we have to go afloundering alone? But gee, maybe they had to, too.
