Agnes Schutz, Sandra Sommer Early in September, 1956, we began our high school career, determined that our class should prosper and our school benefit because of our efforts. By the end of the school year we felt quite familiar with high school and ready to compete with the upperclassmen. We were quite proud of cur freshman basketball team which endedits seasonwitha record of 9 wins and 9 losses. We were sorry to have three members of our class leave us during the school year. Mr. Olson During the year the eighth graders sponsored several projects in an effort to earn money for their class trip in the spring. The first was a chicken and ham loaf supper on November 28, 1956. It was very successful, netting over 3200, Huckleberry Finn , was presented April 5, 1957. All of the participating students enjoyed this immensely, May 17, was the big day. Early in the morning we left for Dayton by Greyhound bus. While there we visited the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Wright Brothers Museum, the Borden Plant and enjoyed a theater party in the even- ing.
