The initiation consisted of the usual: a party and the Truth or Consequences game with the freshmen always on the short end of the deal. The small number of boys in the class resulted not in a shortage of candidates for positions on the athletic squads but rather in a high percentage of participation. With their hopes still high, they are looking forward to a more successful year as iuniors, and having such ambitions, they will go far in reaching their goals. CLASS OF 1954 The Frosh entered school this fall with one thought foremost in their minds that they are now a part of P. H. S. The sophomores made sure that they had a wel come due any new member of our high school. Although this is their first year in high school, they are contributing much to sports, music, scholarship, and other extra-curricular activities. They are enioying this year very much and are looking forward to next year when they will be able to educate the next class of sufTerers .
