Pocahontas, daughter ot the chief, saved Captain Smith's lite from the tribal decision ot death and the wrath of Ah-l-lum, medicine man and advisor. Ahe Meek, mother-in-law ot Row-hat-on, attempted to win over Captain Smith, who was saved iust in time by the entrance ot his good friend John Rolfe, John Rolfe fell in love with Pocahontas. Rovv-hot-on and his tribe sailed to England to confer vvith the Queen on stat-A matters. The court scene found Captain Smith denying his love tor any ot the tribe, and Ah-Meek settling her affections on the medicine man. The new building - - although it is not much to look at yet - - embodies in its completed form several important additions to the school plant. At the west will be a -fam shop and agriculture recitation room. The main part of the building contains a 50 x 80-foot playing floor on the south side of which will be the dress- ing rooms and above them the bleachers or field house seats. On the north will be ci store room above which is a stage fitted with retractable bleachers and there will be n ticket booth at either end. There will be no more taking down and putting up chairs. Physical education classes and assemblies will no longer conflict. The art and industrial arts departments, expand or get new rooms of their own. Camera Club will have a new darkroom of its own and the MIRROR Staft will no longer impose upon the Science department.
