Al Pundoru's Box . . . Many years ago in a far away country, naughty little Pandora succeeded in loosening a knot designed to keep from the world a host of evil spirits. Among these, no one knows how or why, was one good spirit-Hope, who flew away unobserved from the rest C to Ohioj. Many who knew of Pandora and her box were very pessimistic. t'No good will come of this, they said. The 1948 Mirror Staff holds a different opinion and this year has decided to prove to one and all that Hope compensates for all the evils with which she was imprisoned-yes, even overbalances them. Today Hope is symbolized by the town of Pandora, its homes, its churches, and its school. We shall show you, bursting from the box, the five phases of our school life which we know are definite proof that Hope lives, thrives, and will continue to spread her influence. Page Four
