FOOTBALL SCHEDULE STRONG The Fleetwings came through the season with a record of 5 games won, 3 games lost and 1 game tied. Outscoring their opponents 155 points to 71, they came through the season averaging 17.2 points to the opposition's 7.9 per game. Among the highlights of the season was Pandorais victory at Bluffton for the first time. After allowing Genoa a 13 point lead in the first 3 minutes of play the Fleetwings came roaring back to deadlock with a 13-13 score. However, Genoa went through the season undefeated and was ranked as one of the stronger teams in the state in Class B competition. Another highlight of the season was the scoring record set against Leipsic 84-0. By defeating Columbus Grove twice, the Fleetwings annexed the football trophy that was awarded the winner with the best record out of the two series with Columbus Grove. When the Fleetwings went down to defeat they took it on the chin and came back stronger the next time with the will and desire to win.
