They represent the people of the district and are chosen to serve for five years in a democratic way, Mr. David Sturges was elected at the last an- nual meeting. The Board passes on all important matters affecting the school. As this goes to press, they are working on plans for an addition to the building which is needed for shop, l-tindergartcns, and junior high classrooms. Norman Button, Murl Sour, Bruce Berg- Nancy Casler, Linda Nagel, Cynthia Sard. Sh61bYJ0hf1S0nf strom, and Roland Frick. In the Second grade, taught by Miss Firth, we gained one more able crew member, Janice Hall. , With the help of The third grade saw us adding another new spaceship, 5Y1Vi3 Damon Miss Hinckley, our crew of ll completed its mission and set out for the fourth grade- We arrived safely into the fourth grade. The going was setting rougher. bait our teacher, Mrs, Carr helped to smooth out the bumps and send us on our way into the fifth gra e. ln the fifth grade we took on another member, Richard Damon. This year the fifth grade WHS divided and radgm by we teachers--Mr. Guy Pohnson and Mrs. Bennink. In Mrs. Linendoll's sixth grade, the class enrollment was raised to 14 with the addition of Michael Brunecz and Robert Alexander. Fourteen strong, we confidently entered Junior High. we headed for the seventh grade, New York state history, and a new teacher Mr. Whatford. This year we gained 3 classmates. They were Shirley Lord, George Green, and Edward Graham. Mr. Hawkins welcomed us into the eighth grade and assured us we would all pass the Regents. We added another member, Joanne Howeg this brought our class total up to 18, On entering the ninth grade, we found that we were to be initiated by the Sophomores. Our two advisors, Miss Wilson and Mr, Carlson, helped us through this. We added no new members this year. in our Sophomore year, Marsha and Wendall Hornstrom joined our class, With the aid of our advisors, Mr. Peterson and Mr. Dominey, we did many things, among which was initiating the Freshmen. There were 20 of usin our Junior Year. To this number we added Carol Carlson and David Coxe. This year our proyects were selling pencils, paper, and ice cream. We put on a spaghetti supper with the help of our advisors, Mr. Peterson and Mr. Kingsley We also presented the play, You Can't Take It with You.
