A very important part of every school is its newspaper which brings to the students the news of different activities in school. The Pana Pacer was first published in l949. This year Miss Muntman became adviser, the second since the birth of the paper. Belva Wieneke acted as editor and it was her duty, along with Miss Muntman, to see that all stories were written and the paper distributed on time, One thing accomplished this year was the location of a new office-the make-up room on the west side of the stage. The purchase of a new mirneo graph machine helped to speed up the publishing of each bi-weekly edition A ain this 'ear the rooms having lUU er cent subscrintions were given 5 v P rd , a party. The department editors of the staff were: Barbara Hildebrand, Mimec- scopeg Sandra Williams, Assistant, Marie Fleming, Feature, Dolores Vits, As- sistant, loyce Rowley, News, Dee Dee Caudili, Assistant Bill Hagood, Sports, Bruce Maisch, Assistant, and Mary Covey, Exchange.
